Rapture is a term in Christian eschatology which refers to the "being caught up" discussed
in 1 Thessalonians 4:16, when the "dead in Christ" and "we
who are alive and remain" will be caught up in the clouds to meet "the Lord in the air. The term "Rapture" is used in at
least two senses, Pre-Tribulation
rapture, Post-Tribulation rapture and Mid-Tribulation
Rapture. The most popularly taught view among Christian faiths is known as the
Pre-Tribulation Rapture. According
to this view, a group of people will be left behind on earth
after another group literally leaves "to meet the Lord in the air. The
post-Tribulation rapture believes that Christians will remain on the Earth as
witnesses during the seven year tribulation period, until the very end of this age. The
Mid-tribulation rapture is when those who accept this perspective believe that
Christians will be taken from the Earth to be in Heaven with God at some point
during the middle of the seven year period of tribulation.

Signs of the end times
Jesus said, “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom
against kingdom. And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and
famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from
heaven.” Luke 21:10-11.
The
signs of the end times show us that the earth has reached the last days. We are
the last generations of mankind. God said in the end He would destroy those who
destroy the earth. Now just look at what is happening to this world. In times
past, man could not do much damage to the earth. But today, the world is being
"destroyed" through war, industry, chemical pollution, oil pollution,
and depletion of forests and so on. We are living in a time like no other
before us, and God is soon to visit His judgments up this world! We can’t
simply put a date for the second coming of Jesus because no one knows except
our God in Heaven. But we can know when the end is near by referring to the
Bible. Let’s take a woman for example.
Blood Moon Prophecy
It
has been stated in the bible in Joel
2:14 “The
sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great
and the terrible day of the LORD come.” A
lunar eclipse occurs when the sun, Earth and moon line up so the Earth’s shadow
falls on the moon, darkening it. On April 15, 2014, there was a total lunar
eclipse. It was the first of four consecutive total eclipses in a series; known
as a tetrad (the remaining three eclipses will take place on October 8, 2014,
April 4, 2015, and September 28, 2015). Blood
moons are set to appear in April 2014, on Passover, and then again in September
2014 during the Feast of Tabernacles, or Sukkot. The timing is the same for
2015 -- a total of four blood moons, all appearing on Jewish feast days. The bloody
red colour the moon takes on during an eclipse is caused by refraction of sunlight
by the Earth’s atmosphere. It is the same effect that you see when the
sun turns reddish-orange at sunset, only in this case the refracted sunlight
projects all the way to the moon.
Blood Moon lunar eclipses
have happened continuously throughout history, but a Blood Moon Tetrad is when
4 consecutive total lunar eclipses occur on a Jewish Holy Feast day.
3 days of darkness
The
3 days of darkness happens during the 5th Seal/ Trumpet. It
will be an extremely difficult time for humanity. The whole world will be in
turmoil. The justice of God will fall like. a thunderbolt. The 3 days of
darkness will be the final warning of God’s mercy. This will be the final
chance for mankind to repent their sins. What happens during the 3 days of
darkness? It will be a very cold night, a few minutes before midnight. The night will be BITTERLY
COLD, the wind will howl and roar, then will come lightning, thunderbolts,
earthquakes, the stars and heavenly bodies will be disturbed and restless. The
whole earth will shake and move 23 degrees. There will be NO light, but total
blackness; utter dark will envelop the entire earth. This will come suddenly
like a flash. Terrifying events will take place. Many people will die from
fear. The fire rain will destroy everything including cities. The earth will
look like a huge graveyard. The demons will be released from hell and evil
spirit will roam over the earth and do all possible harm to souls. This will mark as the beginning of the 3 days
darkness.
Seven Trumpets of Revelation
Many people ignore the word of God and are going
after money, fame and entertainment. We are surrounded with all the evidence of what the evil of sin can inflict on
mankind. The proof of Christ existence and that of God the Father will be
revealed in all its heavenly glory to every man, woman and child. God will
gain the attention of each person by sending great calamities on the earth.
These calamities will occur during the seven trumpets found in the book of
Revelation. At that time we will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with
power and great glory. For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to
the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. No one knows about that day
or hour, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
Shortly before the seven trumpets sound the people on earth
will be shaken awake by a worldwide earthquake. These earthquakes will increasingly
rip up the surface of the world, and the infrastructures of travel,
communication and manufacturing will collapse during the Great Tribulation.
These earthquakes will have greater strength than the one before it. The final
earthquake will be so violent that it will literally move all of the mountains
and islands from their places. (Revelation 16:20; 6:14). It will be accompanied by tremendous noises like the
roar of a lion, peals of thunder and flashes of lightning. This earthquake
marks the beginning of the Great Tribulation. Shortly after the great
earthquake, around 3 to 4 weeks, the seven trumpets are given to the angels of
God.
1st Trumpet
When the
first trumpet is blown, there came HAIL and fire, mixed with blood, and they
were thrown to the earth; and a third of the earth was burned up, and a third
of the trees were burned up, and all the green grass was burned up (Rev 8:7). Meteoric firestorms will
ignite unquenchable fires all over the world and the accompanying windstorms
will destroy billions of acres of trees, food crops and vegetation within a few
days.
2nd Trumpet
When the
second trumpet is blown, something like a great
mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea; and a third of the sea
became blood, and a third of the creatures which were in the sea and had souls,
died; and a third of the ships were destroyed (Rev 8:8). Asteroid will impact the ocean at the
speed of 50,000 miles per hour. The impact will create a series of tidal waves
that can swallow up an entire city.
3rd Trumpet
When the
third trumpet is blown, a great star fell from heaven,
burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs
of waters. The name of the star is called Wormwood; and a third of the waters
became wormwood, and many men died from the waters, because they were made
bitter (Rev 8:9). The second asteroid
will impact the earth and contaminate water supply. Sewage, deadly bacteria,
toxic chemicals and other garbage buried in the Earth will seep into
underground aquifers.
4th Trumpet
When the fourth trumpet is blown, a third of
the sun and a third of the moon and a third of the stars were struck, so that a
third of them would be darkened and the day would not shine for a third of it,
and the night in the same way (Rev 8:10). Hundreds of powerful violet volcanic
eruptions will occur. These will be numerous and powerful and cause great
damage.
5th Trumpet
The last
three trumpets are called woes because their devastation is so overwhelming. He opened the bottomless pit, and smoke went
up out of the pit, like the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air
were darkened by the smoke of the pit. Then out of the smoke came locusts upon
the earth, and power was given them, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
They were told not to hurt the grass of the earth, nor any green thing, nor any
tree, but only the men who do not have the seal
of God on their foreheads (Rev
9:2-4). God deliberately puts the whole world in a desperate
situation because He knows it is the best way to get everyone’s undivided
attention.
6th Trumpet
One
saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, Release the four angels who are
bound at the great river Euphrates (Rev 9:14). Satan and demon will take charge
of earth. Billions of people will be slaughtered.
7th
Trumpet – The Final Seal
And
there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdom of the world has
become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and
ever." (Rev 11:15). There is a second worldwide earthquake.
It is accompanied by noises, thunder and lightning. Human probation ends. People can no
longer be converted to Jesus and choose to serve Him. Every person will
continue to worship the master he has chosen, either Jesus or Satan.
Jesus second coming
Before
Jesus crucifixion and resurrection, Jesus delivered the end- time prophecies to
his disciples. He was asked by His disciples: "When will these things be?
And what will be the sign of your coming, and of the end of the age?" (Matthew: 24:3). The seven prophecies are:
Mankind has the ability to end life,
all life, on earth. That is, until 1945, when the world entered the nuclear age with the
atomic bomb. And since then, the entire world is under threat of a nuclear
holocaust that could end all human life on earth.
Ark of the covenant
The Ark of the Covenant is described in the
Bible as a sacred container, wherein rested two stone Tablets containing the
Ten Commandments as well as Aaron's rod and a golden jar containing manna.
According to the Biblical account, the Ark was built at the command of God, in
accord with Moses' prophetic vision on Mount Sinai (Exodus 25:9-10). God
communicated with Moses 'from between the two cherubim' on the Ark's cover
(Exodus 25:22). The Ark was constructed using acacia wood which is also
known as the “tree of life”. This chest was said to be a cubit
and a half broad and high, and two and a half cubits long 4.27 ft. x 2.56 ft. x
2.56 ft. (27.93 ft. cu.). The Ark was covered all over with the purest gold.
Its upper surface or lid, the mercy seat, was surrounded with a rim of gold. On
each of the two sides were two gold rings, wherein were placed two wooden poles
(with a decorative sheathing of gold), to allow the Ark to be carried. Over the
Ark, at the two extremities, were two cherubim, with their faces turned toward
one another. Their outspread wings over the top of the Ark formed the throne of
God, while the Ark itself was his footstool.
The Ark was the most important symbol of
the Jewish faith, and served as the only physical manifestation of God on
earth. There was nothing dangerous about the Ark. What was dangerous was the
failure of the Israelites to live by the Covenant and to incur God's anger. We
all know that our God is a loving God and he loves his children dearly. There
is no way a God kill’s person who looks at the Ark, make them blind or burn
them to death. That is not the characteristic of our God. Indeed God wants us
to be near to him, obey him and love him dearly. The Ark of the Covenant was
man made and it’s true inside the Ark lies the tablet of God’s Commandments. Logically
the Commandments were to teach humans the law of God. There is an interesting
theory that the Ark contains massive radiation. The ‘stone’ tablets which had Gods commandments written on them.
