From
the Scriptures we learn that we have all sinned (Romans 3:23). As a result of
knowingly or unknowingly breaking the laws of God (the biblical definition of
sin—1 John 3:4) we are subject to a penalty of death for all eternity. However,
by putting our faith in the fact that Jesus gave His life as a sacrifice for
our sins we can be forgiven of our sins. God loved us
too much to leave us alone. God knew there was nothing we could do to pay the
penalty for the wrong we have done. That is why Jesus Christ entered into the
world. Jesus offered himself as a payment for the wrong that we have done. It
is through Jesus Christ, that we find the forgiveness and mercy. A
Christian must also live by faith. This means changing your life so that you
begin to live by every word of God. You will start keeping the Sabbath and the
Holy Days, to obey God and to follow the example of Jesus and the early church.
As you step out on faith and begin to observe these commanded assemblies with
other true Christians you will begin to understand God’s plan of salvation for
mankind and the true purpose of life. When tragedy strikes very often we blame
God and throw our faith in him. We call God cruel. We let go of our faith in
God and throw him away. Did God in return do that to us? God sent his only son and humans nailed him to the cross and yet God
didn’t blame us and because he loved us so much he watched in pain his son
being tortured to death. If you prick your hand with a thorn it will be very
painful and you will definitely try not to touch anything that has thorns in
it. Jesus suffered and died on the cross and God watch silently. Has the pain
in you overcome the pain that God went through to see his only begotten son
suffer and die on the cross to pay the price for your sins?
If God was selfish
just imagine what humans life will be today and still you blame God for being
cruel? Who is cruel now?” God loves us and want us to receive the blessings that come
from following his plan. He has provided ways for us to stay connected to him
and that is through prayer. Our life didn’t begin at birth and won’t end at
death. God cares about us and we don’t need to wander through life, wondering
where we came from, who we are, and what we should be working towards. Our
Heavenly Father created a plan so that we can follow to return to live with
him. That plan is called the plan of salvation. The reason we are here is Love.
God is love. When we follow his plans, we will reach our destination and
eternal life or unending happiness with God and our families in heaven. The
trials and tribulations he allows in our lives are part of the working together
of all things for good. The resurrection of Jesus led to our greatest
salvation. Part of the resurrection was that Jesus had to bear alone and in
silence the weight of the world. God promises us no one is cast off by
the Lord forever. Though he brings grief, he will show compassion, so
great is his unfailing love.
